I love that parents save things that will someday mean so much to their kids who will show them to their own children, “this is what my Dad did when I started school.” OR “this is what my granddad did for me.”
In the house we share with our son in Texas, I have framed and put some of our son’s early school art work in our “dorm room” garage attic where his kids are now sleeping with their teenage friends. What fun!
